Risk Reduction

Project IMPACT assists State SIDS and Infant Death Programs to build on resources by providing exposure and access to strategies and materials for Infant Death Risk Reduction.

The Association of SIDS and Infant Mortality Programs (ASIP) and the Association of Clinicians for the Underserved (ACU) together developed a resource for clinicians that provides the latest in evidence-based protocols for risk reduction for SIDS and other infant death. The Tool Card is available in PDF format. However, the pocket sized laminated cards are no longer available for bulk orders.

ACU-ASIP_RiskReduction

Infant Death Risk Reduction offers a ready reference for best practices, and the card and PDF can be adapted to include contact information for a local SIDS and Infant Death program. (If you need assistance identifying resources in your state, go to State Contacts & Information on this website.) These tools are part of the ACU’s Quick Reference Card Series for Family and Preventive Health.
